So leave the Sandos resort at 10am. Get to airport at 11 ish for 4pm flight. Well about 2pm we saw delayed to 730 and then said cancelled!! Mass chaos ensues. Next flight 830am. Frontier says they will get luggage and transport to a local hotel for night. Not us!! I got a hold of our travel agent (Mike Edic) who despite being miles away figures it all out for us. We had travel insurance so he secures the Now Emerald for the night for the 16 of us. We hop a taxi and at the hotel for the night. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND a travel agent (ESPECIALLY Mike Edic Pioneer-Travel) and would always get travel insurance.********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Using Mike’s expertise to plan our dream vacation, was the best decision we could have made. He went above and beyond to make certain we had the best possible vacation. Why do I use a travel agent & specifically Pioneer Travel? Recently I was stranded...flight was delayed causing me to miss my connection...no rental cars available...no hotel rooms available...it’s 1am I’m 4hrs away from my destination & it looks like I’m going to be sleeping in MSP. Mike & Jennifer went above & beyond to the extent of even loaning me their personal car!!! Find a website that will do that!!
When everything goes to crap...and when you travel enough it will...it’s very reassuring to know I have a travel professional on my side who work to find the best possible solution. Even if it means loaning me their own car.

Mike was absolutely fantastic. He was so personable and very honest with me through the entire process of booking my honeymoon.
