Mike Edic has lived all over the Midwest and West Coast, but is proud to call Oak Creek, WI his home. He has called the "OC" home since 1993 and is enjoying how much Oak Creek has grown over those years.
He has worked in the travel industry for over 25 years, starting out with a car rental company and a hotel, before continuing on working for an airline in Milwaukee. Mike discovered the travel bug and spent the past 20 years as a travel agent. Passionate about the travel industry, Mike displays his passion for taking care of his clientele for every trip and showing them that travel doesn't have to be automated. Showing clients that someone is there to support them every step of the way. After encouragement from co-workers and friends, Mike branched out on his own in 2012 and opened up Pioneer Travel, LLC, a neighborhood travel agency who specializes in
corporate travel, but is more than happy to send you on a vacation to a warm, sunny beach in the Caribbean, or on a cruise as well.
When Mike isn't playing Super Agent, he donates his time by officiating Special Olympics softball and basketball, assisting in putting trips together for the Eternal Wish, as well as collecting pop tabs and hotel toiletries for the Ronald McDonald House. Mike is currently assisting the Wisconsin Special Olympics athletes on going to Seattle, WA for Nationals in June.
Mike believes in giving back to the community and doing what he can to make others feel wanted and appreciated. Being a local business owner, Mike understands how important it is to give back to your community. He is also a licensed official for the WIAA in softball, basketball and Friday night football.
